Good people,
Thanks for the 411 on this great-sounding article. I look forward to reading it.
Some friends and I will publish a related sociolegal essay in the December issue of the California Law Review, The New Student Insurgency: A Critical Epistolary.
I'll presenting on at the annual Latina/o Critical Theory conference in October and hope to connect with others who organize law students and the legal professionals they/we become to help coalesce broad-based progressive student power.
Much love,

Friends:
Washington University just generously published my
article, "Revolutionary Lawyering."
In the conclusion I write:
"There are enough lawyers in this world defending
the way things are. Plenty of lawyers protect people
and institutions engaged in injustice in our social,
economic and political systems. Plenty of lawyers
work for structures perpetuating and increasing the
racism, militarism and materialism in our world. They
are plentiful and well-compensated. True structural
fundamental change will not come by aiming at small
revisions or reforms. If we are going to transform our
world, we need lawyers willing to work with others
towards a radical revolution of our world. We need no
more lawyers defending the status quo. We need
revolutionaries."
