AALDEF Co-Sponsors Reception for Korean Public Interest Lawyers'

AALDEF, NYC Chapter-NLG JOINT RECEPTION FOR
KOREAN PUBLIC INTEREST LAWYERS' GROUP

Where : The Cedar Tavern, 82 University Place (cross street - 11th street)
Join the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) and the National Lawyers' Guild NYC Chapter (NYC Chapter-NLG) to welcome Gong-gam, the first and only non-profit public interest lawyers' group in Korea.
Founded in 2004, Gong-gam's programs and services include legal training sessions for NGOs, public interest lawsuits, and the promotion of pro bono activities on behalf of the minorities and the underprivileged in Korean society.
AALDEF and NYC Chapter-NLG will be sponsoring a reception for Gong-Gam representatives on Monday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cedar Tavern near NYU. Please RSVP to Steven Choi at schoi@aaldef.org if you would like to join us.
