joins Pedro Gatos to speak to issues regarding

Psychological torture, the SOA and Haiti.

Special Guest Dr. Adrienne Aron, clinical psychologist for past 20 yrs in Berkeley CA. Dr Aron has supervised or participated directly in psychological evaluation of hundreds for persons, predominantly from the western hemisphere, applying for asylum in the U.S. to escape further torture and/or harm from their homeland. We will speak with Dr Aron on her recent experiences of attending the annual School of the Americas (SOA) vigil at Fort Benning GA last week as well as her work with Haiti social justice issues.

Adrienne has been involved in social justice work since 1970s and currently has been working with the Haiti Action Committee, concerned with human rights and social justice in Haiti.


Our show and discussion will be Bringing Light Into (the) Darkness surrounding the historical function of the SOA as well as a fact based historical discussion of Haiti.
