* The Endless War Memorial: Father of Slain Soldier Joins Times Square
Protest to Read Names of Iraq War Dead *
As the fourth anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq approaches, a
coalition of antiwar groups has created the Endless War Memorial in New York
City. Hundreds have gathered in Times Square for a six-day reading thousands
of names of the war dead in Iraq, including U.S. soldiers, Iraqis and
journalists. We speak with Carlos Arredondo, his son, Alexander, was killed
in Najaf in August 2004.
