The ignorant racism based on a sense of "tribal" superiority is obvious in
such statements (just imagine if the text included African-American or
"Nigger" instead of Arab or Palestinian in the above). Unfortunately for
America, such ignorant and malicious thoughts are not marginal and are now
at the highest levels of the US government. I will leave it to a future
posting and readers' own research skills to evaluate these racist statements

mentioning Einstein and Freud I thought I would share these quotes from
those two famous non-Zionist Jews:

ugly face of political Zionism (unfortunately justified by the supremacist
attitude exemplified by Lieberberg's article) and its horrific impact on the
native Palestinians:

Pronouncing Blame on the Israel Lobby, By Dana Milbank Tuesday, August 29,
2006; A02

Dear Editor

It was rather amazing to see the article from Dana Milbank (August 29)
trashing professors Walt and Mearsheimer for simply speaking about the power
of the Israel lobby in our government's disastrous foreign policy. The
distortions in Milbank's article are obvious to anyone who attended or
watched the event at the National Press Club on Monday. I watcxhed the
event on c-SPAN and it is available for the record on cspan.org so that
people can judge for themselves whether Milbank or the two professors are
correct. There is indeed a significant body of evidence in support of the
power of the lobby even quotes from the lobby itself. Howard Friedman,
President of AIPAC, titled his letter of July 30, 2006 to friends and
supporters of AIPAC "Look what you've done". He explained: "Israel is
fighting a pivotal war for its life...the expected chorus of international
condemnation of Israel's actions. ..only ONE nation in the world came out
and flatly declared: Let Israel finish the job.. That nation is the United
States of America--and the reason it had such a clear, unambiguous view of
the situation is YOU and the rest of America Jewry....How do we do it? ...
decades of long hard work which never ends." The viscious attack by Milbank
on the two scholars merely proves the thesis that there are people in this
country who are so fixated on supporting Zionism, right or wrong, even

against Israeli and American public interests, that they are willing to do
anything including trying to "shoot the messenger".
