for years to come, writers from Coast to Coast have been on strike for
For over a week the dispute has been shutting down production of more
shows each day. The main issue is over the distribution of royalties from
DVDs and new and rebroadcast programs over the internet.

Democrats Oppose Call for Impeachment

U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich

When Rep. Kucinich introduced his resolution for impeachment
of Vice President Cheney, he received the support of only a handful of
Democrats. A Presidential hopeful, we’ll talk Kucinich from the campaign
trial in Iowa about impeachment, whether Democrats really want to end
the War, and one of his signature issues, national single payer health
care for all.

Broadway Shows are Shut Down

Since Saturday, Times Square has all but been shut down due to the
Stagehands’ Union strike. Despite record profits in the industry, the
bosses are demanding givebacks saying that stagehands work too
little for too much money and are blaming the strike on workers’ greed.
